Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

“God’s got it rigged.”

I first heard this quote from Pastor David Platt years ago, and it has stuck with me.

It’s a comfort, but not in the way you might think.

It doesn’t mean that walking with the Lord will always be easy.

It does mean the Lord will always be faithful.

“God’s got it rigged” reminds us that, in His sovereign power, His will and purposes will prevail.

These truths calm my anxious mind when He calls me out of my comfort zone or when life is hard.

These words remind me that He always provides for what He commands and that, oftentimes, His provision comes through His church, through the ordinary means of grace and through discipleship.

Think about it…

Want to grow in prayer? Pray with other believers.

Longing to learn how to study your Bible? Study the Bible with other believers.

Desiring to grow in evangelism? Go out with a team that is already sharing the Gospel.

You’ll be encouraged when you step out depending on Him.

The Lord always offers His provision for what He commands. And when you step out in humble faith, ask Him to open your eyes to see how He grows you.

He’s got it rigged and He will provide all that we need to honor Him…..over and over again.
